That was because strange marks had formed under his hair and on his forehead and his head had swollen. He ignored it and went to work. But gradually his head started swelling and within no time it swelled up like a balloon. That day he was sent home from the office because he was feeling unwell. Then he went to the hospital, but the doctor said that this was a side effect, if it persisted the next day, then only he should come again.

He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and tests revealed that he had a reaction to paraphenylenediamine (PPD). This chemical is easily found in hair dyes. He spent 13 hours in the hospital and was then given 25 tablets to take every day for the next 5 days to ease his pain. He thought that when he woke up, the swelling would have gone, but it did not. Now his face has become normal and he has decided that he will not use hair dye again.
